What is the difference between Vedic & Western Astrology?
There is a lot that can be said about this. The short answer is Western Astrology follows a fixed system that is possibly outdated. Therefore it does not follow where the planets are along the ecliptic belt in real time. For that reason Vedic Astrology is more accurate based on what is observable in the sky in real time.
What is the point in knowing what's in my chart?
Your chart is your personal roadmap as well as the dispenser of your karmic lessons and blessings. With that being said the best thing you can do for yourself is to equip yourself with as much knowledge about you and your journey as possible.
Do I need to know my birth time?
Yes and No. We can access much more information with an accurate birth time. However, there are other ways to extract information that is helpful to you by reading a chart from your moon sign.
