Full Moon In Cancer
Updated: Aug 9
The full moon is a time to release. It is a time to clean and declutter your space of things that you no longer resonate with.

A full moon affects everyone differently. The moon, the planet of the mind, feelings, and emotions enters the nakshatra of Ashlesha.
Ashlesha nakshatra is represented by a snake symbol. It is associated with the serpent or coiling energy. And has great potential to be either poisonous or full of Divine wisdom when used in a selfless way.
Snakes or serpents are known for shedding old skin in order to renew itself.

For me, the full moon tends to be the time when sudden things are more prominent. Usually, it's the result of a build-up of some sort- that's the fullness of the full moon. And that is why journaling is helpful. You get to go back and see patterns- good or "bad" that you may have missed before. For example, do your children tend to get more anxious at this phase, do you fall out with your mate more often around this time? Is your moon cycle more in sync with the full moon, new moon, or another phase? These are just some things to consider.
Reflect:
What is your intuition asking you to lean into?
What memories or situations are you tangled up in that need to be resolved or released?
What emotions are you holding on to that are no longer true?
Where have you felt restricted in your life the most?
Based on your observations, how can you support yourself in redirecting the energy?
Affirmations For This Full Moon:
I am supported by the Universe
I welcome experiences that help me grow
I let go of anything holding me back with ease and joy
I trust in the timing of the Universe
I am provided for, cared for, loved, and well
Let the powers that be do what needs to be done so your higher self can thrive.
Trust that all is well.
