Releasing and Renewing Under the Full Moon

Yesterday, I spent the day Upstate with my family, visiting old friends for a long-overdue playdate with our daughters. These girls have been friends since they were three years old, and watching them reconnect reminded me of the simple, unguarded joy that comes so naturally to children.
As I watched them laugh, run, and play without a care in the world, I was struck by their ability to be fully present – no expectations, no agendas, just the pure, effortless connection that we often lose as adults.
The Gift of the Full Moon
Just like children, the moon moves through her phases without hesitation or fear, releasing what no longer serves and making space for what’s next. This full moon energy felt like the perfect moment to pause, reflect, and release – to let go of the heaviness that keeps us from experiencing the lightness of being.
As I sat under the bright, reflective light of the full moon, I decided to release the things that have been weighing on my spirit, so I can welcome more ease, joy, and freedom into my life.
I Choose to Release:
The need to seek approval
The pressure to be everything to everyone
The urge to fill every silence with words
The desire to control what is not mine to control
An Invitation to You
If you’re feeling the pull of the full moon, I invite you to join me in this practice. Take a moment to sit with yourself, breathe deeply, and ask:
What am I ready to release?
What has been weighing me down or holding me back?
Where am I ready to invite more lightness, ease, and joy?
A Gentle Reminder
Just like the moon, you have the power to release what no longer serves you and make space for the new. You don’t have to carry the weight of old fears, past mistakes, or limiting beliefs.
You deserve to feel light, free, and full of joy.
Be well.
